WELCOME TO THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA ZONING MAP

OVERVIEW:

The DC Office of Zoning (DCOZ) is proud to introduce a comprehensive zoning map for the District of Columbia. The interactive zoning map allows users to determine the zoning classification for any property in the District. Users can search zoning by specific address, square and lot, parcel, or Planned Unit Development (PUD). Users can select different layers of data to display on the map, and can print reports for any selected property. The zoning map provides a variety of useful information in a user-friendly format.

NOTE: If you have any trouble loading data on the map (which may occur if you do a number of consecutive searches), simply click on the refresh icon to reset the map.

Please keep in mind that to officially certify zoning on any property in order to satisfy legal requirements, contact the Office of Zoning at (202) 727-6311.

In addition, please note that for each District property where a PUD with a map-related amendment has been approved, the zoning map reflects the underlying zoning classification for that property. To ascertain the zoning classification pursuant to the PUD, look up the PUD by number (using the Find PUD link) and select the accompanying report.

Users should note that when using the Find PUD link, a case name and case number appear next to the PUD number. This information reflects the most recent case name and case number associated with the PUD.

Based on the comprehensive nature of the PUD list, certain PUDs are included that may have expired or may never have been built. Where possible, DCOZ has attempted to indicate this information.
