Friday’s Map launch included presentations by Jamison Weinbaum, Director of the Office of Zoning; Vincent Gray, Chairman of the City Council of the District of Columbia; Valerie Santos, Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development; Anthony Hood, Chair of the Zoning Commission; Marc Loud, Chair of the Board of Zoning Adjustment (BZA); and, Nyambi Nyambi, Chief Technology Officer of the Office of Zoning. It was attended by citizens, Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) Commissioners, developers, and land use attorneys. The Map can be accessed on DCOZ’s website at www.dcoz.dc.gov by clicking on Zoning Map under Services in the blue sidebar or by clicking on the Zoning Map icon on the right side of the website. Zoning information and related data sets can be retrieved by typing Street Addresses (Zoning by Location) or Squares and Lots (Zoning by SSL). Other features include Case History by Square and information on Planned Unit Developments (PUDs), including their associated Zoning Commission orders.
